AKTU has released the official notice for UPSEE 2021.
It may be noted that this year, the exam has been renamed to UPCET 2021, short for Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test. And National Testing Agency will be organizing the test this year.
Earlier known as UPSEE, or the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination, the UPCET is the state level entrance exam for admission to UG, PG, and lateral entry admissions. Some may also refer to this exam as AKTU 2021 or UPTU 2021.
UPSEE 2021, or the UPCET 2021 will be held on Sunday, 16th May 2021. It will be held in 57 cities across the country. The test will be completely computer based test.
Questions in the paper will be MCQ type. And it is also conveyed via the official notice that question paper language of UG, MBA, MCA will be English and Hindi.
UPSEE 2021 application form will be released today, i.e. on March 26, 2021. The official website for registration will be upcet.nta.nic.in.
UPCET (formerly UPSEE) 2021 will be held for admission to these courses.
First is the group of courses offered by AKTU, i.e. Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University , and some other state universities. Admission to first year of UG courses to following will be through UPCET, namely 4 year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), 4 year Bachelor of Design (B.Des), 4 year Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), 3 year Bachelor of Vocational courses (B.Voc), 4 year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), 4 year Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design (BFAD), 5 year Master of Computer Applications (Integrated), 5 year MBA (Integrated). Lateral entry to second year of B.Tech. –for Diploma holders, B.Tech. for B.Sc. graduates, B. Pharm. The sole PG course in this first group is 2 year Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
The second group of courses are the ones offered by Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT). First year UG courses include 3 year Bachelor of Business
Administration (BBA), 4 year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma). Lateral entry courses include B.Tech. –for Diploma holders, B.Tech. for B.Sc. graduates. Here the list of PG courses offered is longer, and include 2 year Master of Computer Applications (MCA), 2 year Master of Business Administration (MBA), M.Sc. ( Maths), M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc. (Chemistry), Twelve M.Tech specializations in 5 Engineering disciplines- Civil Engg., Electronics & Comm. Engg., Mechanical Engg., Computer Sc. & Engg. /Information Technology, Electrical Engg.
