Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is inviting online applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up 1473 vacancies for the post of Lecturer in Government Inter College. The Commission is to conduct the Preliminary & Main stage examinations on due dates for shortlisting of the eligible candidates. UPPSC has published a detailed recruitment advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in. Eligible and intending candidates can register and apply online at the website till January 22, 2021. The last date of receipt of application fee online is January 18, 2021.
The vacancies are available for both male and female candidates. As per the detailed advertisement, there are 991 vacancies for male candidates and 482 vacancies for female candidates. In each category, the available vacancies are distributed across various constitutional categories. Selected candidates are to be appointed at the Pay Scale of Rs 9300-34800 for a Grade pay of Rs 4800 at the Level 8 of the pay matrix.
UPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2020 For 1473 Vacancy Detailed Advertisement
Applicants must ensure that they fulfil the specified minimum eligibility conditions to apply for the recruitment. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on July 01, 2020 in order to apply. Applicants must be holding a post graduate degree in a respective subject in order to apply for the recruitment. UPPSC is going to conduct two stages of written examination for the selection of the applicants. The first stage exam i.e. Prelims consist of an all objective type question paper with provisions of negative marking. Wrong answers are liable to incur a negative marking of 0.33 marks. The examination is to be conducted on OMR sheets in centres across the state. Only those who qualify in the Prelims can apply separately to appear in the Main exam.

It may be noted that separate applications need to be submitted to appear in the Prelims and the Main examination as per schedule. As of now, candidates have to apply online for the Prelims exam by paying a fee of Rs 125 (for UR, EWS and OBC category). Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD and ESM categories have to pay a fee of Rs 65, Rs 25 and Rs 65 respectively. Similarly, for the Main exam, the fee for UR, EWS and OBC category is Rs 225 while SC/ST and ESM candidates have to pay only Rs 105. Candidates belonging to PWD categories have to pay only Rs 25.
