University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, is conducting the UPESEAT 2021 exam from June 17 to 19, 2021. Due to the pandemic, the exam is being held as an online proctor test. The candidates will have to appear for the exam as per the exam timing and date they have selected during slot booking.

Login and login credentials: UPES Engineering Aptitude Test is being held as an online proctored exam. The exam will be held for 2 hours. To take the exam candidates have to login with credentials (passkey) sent to the candidates one day before the exam on a registered email id and mobile number. This passkey will be different from the used for the demo test.
Exam time: The examination will be held in various slots between 10 am to 2 pm. Students can login during the given time frame and begin with the online test. The timer starts when the student login.
Exam pattern: UPESEAT 2021 will have a total of 125 questions from Mathematics / Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English Language Comprehension. There will be 35 questions each from Mathematics / Biology, Physics, Chemistry. 20 questions will come from English Language Comprehension.
To appear for the exam that has started today, here are some useful last minute tips to follow:
Practice demo test: To get an idea of how to attempt the online proctored exam or just to practice once before the test, candidates can take the demo test available at upes.ac.in. To take the demo test candidates have to login with Application Id, date of birth, and subject – PCM / PCB.
Take out those notes and revise: This is the time to brush up what have been done. Take out the note and revise as much as you can.
Previous year papers and mock test: In the last minute, most that the candidates can do is have a look at the previous year paper. Many a time, similar type of questions appear in the exam. Also, if the exam is in the coming days then take as many mock test as one can. This will boost up the confidence.
Do not indulge in any cheating activity: The exam is being held in an online proctored mode. But that does not mean the candidates should take advantage of it and indulge in the cheating activity. The online proctored exam records all activity of the students and any suspicion can lead to disqualification.
The result of the entrance examination will be declared on or before June 24, 2021, at upes.ac.in.
UPESEAT is the engineering entrance exam for admission in all B.Tech courses offered at UPES. This year a total of 1540 seats will be filled via UPESEAT 2021 ranks. Apart from UPESEAT, UPES will also accept admissions based on JEE Main, SAT, and board Merit.
UPES will also provide scholarship facilities to the students. Scholarships will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X and XII and 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (all streams) in Computer Science and Engineering. Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech Program. Scholarships will be awarded based on Merit only.
Apart from that 20% scholarship is available for female students. Additionally, scholarship is also available for the Uttarakhand State Board Toppers.
