The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination (UPCET) 2021, earlier known as UPSEE, on September 05 and 06, 2021. Thereafter, the NTA released a tentative counselling schedule for the state-level entrance exam. The counselling session is expected to begin from September 16, 2021, at 2 pm. This clearly implies that the UPCET 2021 results are likely to come out on or before September 15, 2021. While this is the probable timeline, past-year records can provide a more accurate result date. Based on previous-year trends, results are likely to come out on September 11, 2021.
In 2020, the UPSEE results were announced on October 15, and the registration process for the first round of counselling began on October 19, 2020. Here, there was a 4-day gap between the announcement of results and the commencement of the counselling session. However, the same trend was not followed in 2019.
The NTA announced the UPCET 2019 results on June 03, while the registration process for counselling began 12 days later on the official portal – upsee.nic.in. This time-gap cannot be applied in 2021 as the counselling session is expected to commence from September 16, 2021. Hence, by applying the 4-day gap between the two consecutive events, UPCET 2021 results are likely to be announced on September 11, 2021. Candidates, who have successfully qualified the entrance exam, will be allotted a separate rank in the merit list based on their individual scores.
If the results are going to be announced on September 11, 2021, there is only 3 days of waiting time left. While waiting for the UPSEE 2021 results to come out, here’s how candidates can check their results, based on the 2020 process –
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSEE 2021 i.e., upsee.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the link attached to “UPSEE 2021 Examination Results”.
Step 3: By doing so, a new page will open asking for login credentials. Key in the exam roll number, date of birth and captcha.
Step 4: After entering the required information, click on the ‘Submit’ option to access the results.
Step 5: Download or take a printout of the results for future use or reference.
Last year, a total of 74,973 B.Tech. candidates appeared for the UPCET examination, out of which, 69,793 passed the entrance test. The B.Pharm. category reported 81% as the passing percentage, while 99% B.Arch. candidates passed the state-level entrance exam.
