Due to development, the state has become the second-largest economy of the country today. The economy has become 22 lakh crore today. Per capita income has doubled in the state. The big reason behind these changes is the spirit of service and dedication. There is a rule of law in the state today. The investment of Rs 4.5 lakh crore in the state is not less than a record.
During the time of the previous governments, investors did not even take the name of coming to this state. Today the situation is that in the transition period like Corona, whenever there was no talk of investment anywhere, investment proposals worth Rs 56 thousand crores have come in the state at that time. So far, work has started on investment proposals of about three lakh crores in UP. This is such a work that will prove to be a change in the fate of the people and youth of the state. Dr Sharma said that people will get to see a long series of development works in the coming times. While addressing the birth centenary celebrations of Shaurya Chakra Vibhushit Self Chaudhary Harmohan Singh Yadav, he said that the welfare of the people is paramount for the present government.
Even in difficult times like Corona, the government protected the people of the state with the utmost sensitivity. The WHO has also praised the efforts of the government. He said that the great personalities whose birth centenary celebrations are being organized today have also contributed a lot in the field of education. The present government has also worked to convert the crumbling education system inherited into the model education system of the country. The dignity of the education system, which has reached C grade, has been restored today and it has reached A-grade. UP, infamous for copying, has now become a model for copy-less exams.

The use of technology has changed the nature of examination itself. The change in curriculum for the first time after independence will make it easier for the students to paint their dreams. A digital library has been established for the first time in the state. About 76 thousand e-content are present in it, which is becoming a medium to pacify the curiosities of the students. Dr Sharma said that UP is also leading in the implementation of the new education policy. The Union Education Minister has also praised UP for this.
Efforts are being made to ensure that after completing studies, students can become eligible to get or give employment. Research is being encouraged to establish the country as a world guru. Universities are emerging as research centres. The foundation of self-reliant Uttar Pradesh is being laid. The dream of corruption-free UP has now turned into reality. The Prime Minister has made such an arrangement that today, on a single click, the entire money of the beneficiary of any scheme reaches his account. Chief Minister invited Shri Nitin Agrawal to the Legislative Assembly Congratulations on being elected Vice President
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated Shri Nitin Agarwal on being elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. He said that Mr. Agarwal is a young and experienced member. He expressed confidence that the benefit of Shri Nitin Agarwal’s experience would be passed on to the House. Expressing happiness over the peaceful election of the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, he said that it is necessary for everyone to follow tradition and dignity. The Chief Minister was congratulating Shri Nitin Agarwal on behalf of the Legislature Party on being elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly here today. He said that for the last four and a half years, it was awaited that a unanimous resolution would be brought by the largest opposition party to nominate a young face for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. But due to a lack of positive attitude, finally, when the term of the Legislative Assembly will be completed in the next six months, it seemed appropriate that a young man should be given the responsibility of Deputy Speaker.
He expressed happiness that the House has elected a young and experienced member in the form of Shri Nitin Agarwal as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. He thanked all the members for this. The Chief Minister said that following parliamentary traditions is expected of all. Accusations and counter-allegations are the beauty of democracy. Communication should not be interrupted. The opposition leaders are gentlemen and believers in dialogue. He must be thinking that it would have been better if he had given this offer earlier. After this election, he will say that there has been a disturbance in the election. This is the habit of those people. These people blame the EVMs after the public’s decision in the Vidhan Sabha or Lok Sabha elections. He said that the picture of the 2022 Vidhan Sabha elections has also become clear from the elections held here today.
The Chief Minister said that the House becomes a medium for expressing party urges and prejudices. When members on both sides speak face to face, it should not be taken personally. He said that under the guidance and protection of Hon’ble Speaker, this House has set many records in the last four and a half years. We have always tried to create dialogue. We had a meeting of party leaders even in the Corona period. The Samajwadi Party had boycotted that meeting even then. The Chief Minister said that we had organized a special session to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The session was convened in the 150th birth anniversary year of Mahatma Gandhi.
The Sustainable Development Goals were adopted by the UN in 2016, followed by the Government of India for the entire country. The House discussed for 36 consecutive hours to achieve the goals of SDGs, which include various developments including poverty alleviation, health and education, employment. The Samajwadi Party had boycotted the session even then. Because it was related to the eradication of poverty, employment to youth, better health, quality education, doubling of farmers’ income and Samajwadi Party has nothing to do with it. So the Samajwadi Party opposed it. The Chief Minister said that Mr. Nitin Agarwal is technically a member of the Samajwadi Party. The member of the largest opposition party should have got the post of vice-president. This work has also been done by the Bharatiya Janata Party Legislature Party while discharging the parliamentary traditions. Many faces of Samajwadi Party have come to the fore. Samajwadi Party is anti-youth.
For some people, the family is the party, but for us, the state is the family. It is this difference that has compelled this election to be held here today. We must not forget that the youth should always get a chance. We have made 07 ministers now, all of them are youths. represent different sections of society. Bharatiya Janata Party has always done the work of giving representation to all those people. Our government is working with a dedicated spirit for these values, ideals. Expressing sympathy to Shri Narendra Verma, the defeated candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister said that he is a good member. On behalf of the Samajwadi Party, they keep their point in the house in a strong manner. Follow parliamentary conventions. Expressing condolences to Mr. Verma, he said that he should live his life with socialist values.
The tradition with which Shri Nitin Agarwal is moving forward. He moves forward with strength. The Bharatiya Janata Party Legislature Party is with them, will cooperate with them. He said that following the high decorum of this House, we all would work together to carry forward the traditions on them. The Chief Minister said that in the last four and a half years, the Legislature has taken many historic decisions and worked for the benefit of 25 crore people of the state. Along with poor welfare, youth welfare, empowerment of women, upliftment and upliftment of farmers, work has been done to establish the state as the most attractive investment destination of the country through infrastructure development in the state.
Due to this, all the members of the ruling party and the opposition have contributed together to the work that has been done in the state in the last four and a half years. This has changed the perception of the state. There is good thinking among the people that Uttar Pradesh has the potential to become the growth engine of the country. It has the potential to become the largest economy in the country. Whatever Uttar Pradesh will do, it will help India’s economy. It can be very helpful in taking the weight to new heights. To take this concept forward, youth energy needs to be given more strength.
