UP Board Introduces Coding in Over 4 Crores Answer Sheets

UP Board has completed all the preparations related to the board exams of class 10 and 12. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is trying to stop the cheating in the exams. To do so, the UP Board will instruct the students to write their serial number and roll numbers on every page of the answer sheet. Along with it, there will be coding on more than 4 crores answer sheets. It will be helpful in monitoring the students so that neither they will cheat nor they will be able to exchange the answers sheets.

According to the Deputy Chief Minister and Secondary Education Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma has stated that the board is taking some strict measures in the board exams of class 10 and 12. It would be beneficial for the candidates as well as for the board. He further added that this year, the number of registered candidates has been reduced by 9,15,846. In high school, this time Uttar Pradesh board has noticed 5,9,933 fewer registrations while for Intermediate, the reduction of 04,05,913 candidates has been witnessed.

Mr. Sharma has stated further that the depletion is noticed due to these strict rules. This year,  31,95,603 students have been registered in class 10 and for class 12, the number of candidates has applied is 26,11,319.

The board exams for class 10 will begin from February 07 and will be held till February 28, 2019. In this way, class 10 board exams will be finished within 14 working days. The first and the last exams will be of  Music Singing and Sanskrit respectively.

The UP Board will complete the exams for class 12 candidates within 16 working days. The exams will be conducted from February 07, 2019. The first exam will be of Woodwork/ Prandhshilp/ Stitching. The last date of the exams is March 02, 2019. The last exam will be of English.
