Lucknow University is going to announce the Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education Joint Entrance Examination (UP B.Ed JEE) 2020 result today, i.e. on September 5, 2020. The result will be declared at 5:00 pm, on the official website lkouniv.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam on August 09, 2020, can check the result from the login.
To check the result, candidates need to click on the ‘UP B.ED JEE 2020 Result’ link present on the homepage of the website. Then, the candidates have to enter important details like use id and password. After entering the details, the candidates need to click on the ‘Login’ option. Candidates can download their scorecard and print a copy for future use.
The entrance exam result includes various important details related to the examination. These details include name of the candidate, application number, roll number, status, paper wise marks, category, total marks obtained and general rank. In the exam, each correct answer is allotted 2 marks and 1/3 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. Taking these two points into consideration, the total marks obtained in the examination are calculated. After declaring the result, Lucknow University releases the merit list based on the marks obtained by candidates. The candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list have to appear for the counselling session. The tentative date for commencement of UP B.Ed JEE counselling session is September 21, 2020.
The counselling session is comprised of three rounds. Firstly, shortlisted candidates are required to pay the counselling fees. They also have to submit their choice of colleges based on priority. After the submission of their preferences, the candidates are allotted colleges based on their merit rank. Candidates are required to download the allotment letter and appear at the college to complete the remaining admission formalities.
Lucknow University conducts the UP B.Ed JEE exam every year for candidates who wish to pursue B.Ed. degree in various colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh. This year, a total of 3,57,064 candidates appeared for the examination at almost 1089 exam centres. The exam was conducted according to COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government on August 9, 2020.
