Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Ordinary Grade Medical Officer. An official notification in this regard is recently uploaded on the official website, ukmssb.org. The conducting body has announced a total of 763 vacancies for the said posts. The online registration for UKMSSB Medical Officer Recruitment has started from August 11, 2020. Candidates can submit the online application form on or before August 31, 2020.
The recruitment for UKMSSB Medical Officer is open for Indian Nationals. Candidates who have attained the minimum age limit of 21 years and have not completed 42 years as on July 01, 2020, are eligible for the announced post. However, age relaxations as per the Government of India Rules is permissible to the reserved category candidates. Aspirants who have MBBS degree or equivalent from a recognized university can submit the forms online. Moreover, they must also possess MS/ DNB, MD/ MS/ DNB, MCH/ DM in the concerned subjects before applying. Candidates should have registered themselves and possess a valid registration certificate from the State/ Indian Medical Council. Applications for this recruitment can be submitted majorly in three steps – registration profile, application submission and fees payment. Candidates are advised to browse the UKMSSB official website, ukmssb.org. The registration profile can be created by taping on the relevant link available online. Before candidates process with the form submission, they must keep a scanned image of photograph, signature and relevant documents for uploading.
Once done with the UKMSSB form submission, candidates can proceed to submit their fee for the recruitment. UKMSSB accepted the fee through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit cards only. Candidates belonging to Unreserved/ OBC category have to pay Rs. 2000/- and EWS/ SC/ ST category candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- as the application fee.
The selection process for UKMSSB recruitment includes the screening of academic qualifications, work experience followed by the interview. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility norms are awarded 20 marks for educational qualification and 20 marks for the work experience. Such candidates are invited for the interview round which carries 50 marks. For this round, candidates are asked to carry certain documents with them for the verification only.
