Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has postponed the inter 2nd year practical exams. Practical exams were previously scheduled to be conducted from May 29, 2021 to June 07, 2021. The exams have been postponed indefinitely amid rising COVID19 cases in the state. After holding a review meeting in the first week of June 2021, a revised schedule shall be announced at least 15 days prior to the commencement of practical exams.
The board shall most likely hold the Inter 2nd year or Class 12 board exams for the academic year 2020-21. Revised schedule as well timetable for the same shall be declared soon. Around the same time, the education board shall announce the Inter 1st year results without conducting the exams. Such important decisions regarding the Inter exams shall be announced soon, in the first week of June 2021. While TSBIE has not provided any official updates on the exams, reports suggest that the state supports the decision of conducting offline exams for Class 12 students.
Past Sunday, the Education Minister of India, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ convened a high-level online meeting with all the state education ministers and education secretaries. During the meeting, Mr. Pokhriyal gave a freehand to all the states about conducting the Class 12 board exams in their respective states. Furthermore, they were asked to send a detailed report describing their exam proposal to the centre on or before May 25, 2021.
As per reports, a total of 32 States and UTs were in favour of conducting the Class 12 board exams in the pen-and-paper mode. Telangana is one of those states who are in favour of conducting the offline exams. Sources suggest that TSBIE shall most likely conduct the board exams for Class 12 students between mid-July and September 2021.
India has started showing signs of recovery from the second wave of COVID19. If all goes well, the situation will have completely stabilised by mid-July 2021. The circumstances shall be conducive to conduct offline exams for students. However, these are mere speculations and TSBIE is yet to comment on the impending exams. They are expected to take a concrete decision in the first week of June 2021. While the Class 12 board exams shall most likely be conducted, the exact schedule is not certain.
As regards TS Inter 1st year results are concerned, they are expected to come out soon, preferably in June 2021 (as March is almost about to get over). Once released, candidates can check their results on the official website bie.telangana.gov.in. They are advised to download or print a copy of their results for future reference. Students are also instructed to visit the official website constantly and not fall prey to rumour or unreliable information circulated on social media.
Recently, TSBIE announced the SSC Class 10 results on May 21, 2021, on the official website. Thereafter, the board announced that the Inter 1st year online lectures shall commence from June 01, 2021. Subsequently, the first phase of admissions for the academic year 2021-22 shall be completed by July 05, 2021. Furthermore, the board has requested students to seek admission in colleges affiliated with the board and whose information has been uploaded on the official website.
