Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC) has confirmed that it will conduct the TN Forest Watcher examination in online computer based test mode on October 5 and 6, 2019. To help test takers get familiar with the mode of exam, mock test was also launched on Thursday at forests.tn.gov.in. The online mock test / practice test will remain live 24×7 unti October 6, 2019.
Initially when the tentative schedule of Tamil Nadu Forest Watcher was released, the exam was supposed to take place in September, and hall ticket was to be issued in second week of August. However now that exact exam date has been fixed to be the first Saturday and Sundays in the month of October, date of issuance of hall ticket shall be different from what it was supposed to be.
Last year, TNFUSRC held the exam for Forest Guard on December 10 and 11. For the same, the committee had issued hall ticket on December 2, that is eight days prior to exam. However the hall ticket or admit card only contained name of city of exam, and thereafter exact examination center was sent three days prior to exam to registered email ID and mobile number of candidates.
Similarly, TNFUSRC Forester exam was held from December 6 to 9. Admit card for Forester exam was released on November 30 that is six days before exam. Again, admit card had name of city. Then examination centre and address were sent via registered mobile number and registered email address three days before exam.
Now since TN Forest Watcher recruitment 2019 exam will be held on October 5 and 6, therefore it is anticipated that hall ticket will release 6-8 days prior to exam, in fourth or last week of September. Once it is available, candidates will have to login with registration number and password or date of birth to login and download it.
TNFUSRC hall ticket shall contain registration number, password, candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, father’s name, mother’s name, address, exam centre code, examination city, exam date, papers, photograph, signature. It will also contain instructions for exam and how to navigate through the computer based test.
TN Forest Watcher exam 2019 will have 150 multiple choice questions. The number of questions from eleven different topics will tentatively be as notified through a notification published last month. The number of questions will be 15 from Physics, 15 from Chemistry, 15 from Botany, 15 from Zoology, 20 from Current Events, 10 from Geography, 15 from History and Culture of India and Tamil Nadu, 10 from Indian Polity, 10 from Indian Economy, 10 from Indian National Movement, and 15 from Aptitude and Mental Ability Tests. There will not be any negative marking in the exam.
