Tata Institute of Social Sciences has released the TISSNET 2021 result today. The result is declared online at the official website of the Institute i.e. tiss.edu. TISSNET result has been published in the form of score card of candidates who took the test. Candidates have to log in with the registered email ID and password to check the result. Those who qualify in the TISSNET 2021 exam have to appear in the TISSPAT 2021 or TISSMAT 2021 depending on the program they seek admission to.
How to Check TISSNET Result 2021?
The Tata Institute has declared the result of TISSNET 2021 held on February 20, 2021 on the official website only. As such, candidates who took the test have to check the result from the website only through candidates login. For this, the login credentials generated during the TISSNET 2021 registration process must be known.
Once on the official website of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences i.e. tiss.edu, candidates have to click on the TISSNET 2021 Result Published option. It is available under the Special Announcements section on the homepage of the website. Candidates are automatically redirected to the candidate login page for downloading the TISSNET 2021 Scorecard.
On the login page, one must enter the registered email ID and password correctly. Once done, candidates have to type in the security code as displayed and then click on Login to open and download the scorecard.
TISSNET 2021 Cut Off Marks
The cut off marks are decided by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences on the basis of diverse factors. These factors may include, but are not limited to the number of candidates who took the test, the availability of seats, level of difficulty of the TISSNET exam etc. Those who secure a score equal to or more than the specified cut-off marks in TISSNET 2021 exam become eligible to receive call letters for appearing in subsequent selection tests.
As per reports, the TISSNET 2021 cut-off mark for admission to MA in HR program is 68. On the other hand, the cut-off marks for admission to MA in Social Entrepreneurship program is 53. The cut-off marks has been decided at 62 for admission to MA in Development Studies program.
What After TISSNET 2021?
The selection process for admission to MA programs through TISSNET is multi tier in nature. All candidates have to appear in the TISSNET exam which is the preliminary shortlisting stage for admission to MA programs at Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
After qualifying through TISSNET, candidates who opt for admission to HR&LD and ODCL programs have to take the TISSMAT while other have to take the TISSPAT. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for further updates.
