TISSNET Registration 2019 Ending in 7 Days; Apply for TISS M.A. Programmes Now

TISSNET Registration 2019 Ending in 7 Days

Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) is closing the registration for Master’s Programme on December 10, 2018. The registration form for TISSNET 2019 examination is available at tiss.edu. Candidates who want to appear for any of 53 Post Graduate courses offered by TISS must apply before the last date. Also, students can register only for a maximum of three programmes for which there is a common entrance test. It is scheduled to take place in one session on January 13, 2019 (2.00 pm to 3.40 pm).

First, before registering for any of the programme candidates must check the eligibility criteria which may vary course to course. The criterion which is applicable to all the programmes is that candidates must have a minimum of three-year graduation degree. Applicants in the final year of graduation degree can also apply given they submit the final mark sheet latest by September 30, 2019.

The application fee for the TISSNET changes according to the number of courses selected by students. For the general category, it is Rs 1030/-, Rs 2060/-, Rs 3090/- for one, two, and three courses respectively. Similarly, for eligible Goi-pms SC/ST/OBC(NC), the fee is Rs 260, Rs 520/-, Rs 780/- for one, two, and three courses. For non-eligible Goi-pms SC/ST, the fee to pay is Rs 510, Rs 1020, Rs 1530 for one, two, and three courses respectively.

In the TISSNET application form candidates have to upload the photograph and signature in the valid format. Apart from that upload the caste and income certificate as applicable. In case candidates are paying the fee via challan then they must upload the copy of it in the application form. All the certificates must be in JPG / JPEG / PNG except for Income/ Caste Certificate/ Challan which should be in PDF format.

In order to successfully submit the TISS M.A form, complete all the five steps after the registration process. The steps include entering the candidates’ details, academic details, course details, uploading of documents, and the payment of a fee. Candidates must keep the copy of the application form for the future reference as a proof of the successful submission of TISSNET Application.

The exam for all the courses will take place in one day in 39 cities all over India. Candidates will able to check their exam entre once the admit card will release on December 26 and 27, 2018. All the test takers must take the hall ticket and photo identity proof on the examination day.

As there is still more than one month left for the exam, candidates must prepare well to clear the high cut-off the exam. General aptitude can be excelled with thorough practice. Students can refer to the mock test and the previous year question papers. Importantly, prepare well for the general knowledge section in order to score high in the exam. Apart from current affairs also revise some static GK like currencies, states, capital, first in invention etc.
