Biology is one of the optional subjects for CBSE Class 12 students. Those students who have opted this subject can now download the sample papers also. CBSE Class 12 Biology Sample Paper 2019 is a good option for the students to prepare well. The sample paper is present online on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. cbse.nic.in. The students who want to get the model paper can go to the official website and on the homepage, there is a tab available named “Examinations”. After clicking on another option available under it i.e. Syllabus/ Curriculum, the students can get the sample paper list. Now, click on the Biology link to get it.
Sample Paper is available in the pdf format and it contains the number of questions to come in the board exam. Also, it is having the total section, the optional questions, and some other important instructions. Thus, it is recommended for the students to do the preparations through the model papers too. It would be helpful in getting the idea of the pattern of the question paper that would come in the board exam and also the proper way to solve it.
CBSE Class 12 Biology Sample Paper 2019 contains the four sections in the question paper. The name of the sections is Section A, B, C, and D. Although these sections are having internal choices but all the questions are compulsory for the students to attempt.
For all the sections, the internal choices are available. A student has to attempt only one of the alternatives in such questions.
Section A is having 5 questions and each question contains 1 mark. Two choices are available in this section.
For Section B, the CBSE Board has decided to provide 7 questions and all the questions are having 2 marks each. In this section, two choices for the questions will be provided.
Now, coming to Section C, the students will get 12 questions. 3 marks will be assigned to each question in this section. In this section, there would be four choices.
At last, Section D comes. This section will have 3 questions and each question possess 5 marks. For all the three questions, the board will provide three options.
Thus, in totality, there will be 27 questions. All the questions are necessary to be completed within 3 hours. The total marks will be provided as 70.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has also released the marking scheme for the students. The candidates can get it on the same page on which the link for the model paper is given. The students can download it from there. It is also important to have a look at the marking scheme.
For the students, the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 is expected to be released in the month of February 2019. The exams may begin after February 15, 2019. It will be held first for the vocational subjects then for the core subjects.
