The Mission Directorate of Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam in partnership with Tezpur University is inviting online application for Technical Officers. Applications are invited for 77 Civil Engineers and 19 Mechanical Engineers. A notification for the recruitment of Technical Officer in various districts of the state of Assam has been released online. The selection to the announced posts is on contractual basis for 11 months with Rs.30,000/- as monthly salary. Interested candidates can submit their online application form through the official website which is tezu.ernet.in only. The last date for the submission of the application form is July 05, 2020.
The link to submit the online application form is available on the official notification only. Candidates have to download the official notification and open the link on another tab. They shall enter all the details and tap on the submit button to submit the application form. Along with the online applications, aspirants must attach the photocopies of the academic transcripts from 10th standard certificates and mark sheets to graduation degree and mark sheets. In order to apply, candidates shall possess the educational qualifications fo B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. He/she should not exceed the age limit of 35 years as on January 01, 2020. Applications from the domicile candidates of the state of Assam with proper knowledge of Assamese, English, Hindi and other local language are accepted. Moreover, candidates must have knowledge in areas of community-driven rural projects such as water supply, roads, buildings, sanitation, and other relevant areas. Candidates who have the knowledge of how to run MS office/OS and Internet are prefered. Aspirants must note that the job requires extensive travelling within and outside the state. They should be ready to take up complex tasks, know how to work under pressure, and within the deadlines.
Due to the current situation of the COVID-19, the conducting body is planning to conduct a contactless recruitment process which involves document verification. The selection for the post of Technical Officers is based on the marks obtained from class 10th to graduation level. Candidates who are unable to furnish the required documents are not considered for the announced posts. Applicants who fit right as per the essential and desirable qualifications are shortlisted and finally appointed for the post of Civil and Mechanical Technical Officers.
