The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam date of the 1st paper of the SSC Multi Tasking (MTS) 2021 exam. Candidates have been waiting for the revised dates of this exam for a long time. The announcement regarding the exam date was made by SSC through an official notice that was released on the official website ssc.nic.in. SSC MTS 2021 Paper-1 exam will be conducted from October 05, 2021, to October 20, 2021. This exam will be conducted for the recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff for the different offices of ministries, central government, state government, and union territories.
The application forms for SSC MTS 2021 were already released on February 05, 2021, and were closed on March 21, 2021. Earlier the Paper-1 of SSC MTS 2021 was scheduled to be conducted from July 01, 2021, to July 20, 2021. But due to the COVID 19, the exam was postponed and now it has been scheduled in October 2021. As Paper-1 of SSC MTS 2021 is rescheduled, it is expected that the Paper-2 of SSC MTS 2021 exam will also be rescheduled. The paper-2 was earlier scheduled for November 21, 2021.
SSC MTS 2021 Paper-1 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Paper-1 will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from subjects like General English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness. From each of these subjects, a total of 25 questions of 25 marks will be asked. The time for completing the exam is 90 minutes whereas, for the candidates with disabilities, the time is 120 minutes. For the subjects like General Awareness, Numerical Aptitude, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, the paper will be set in both English and Hindi language.
For every correct answer in Paper-1 of the SSC MTS 2021 exam, candidates will get 1 mark and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted due to the negative marking scheme. Upon qualifying for the Paper-1 of SSC MTS 2021 exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-2 exam. The Paper-2 of the SSC MTS 2021 exam will be held in a descriptive mode where candidates have to write a short essay or letter for 50 marks. The time for the Paper-2 exam will be 30 minutes and 40 minutes for the disabled candidates. Upon qualifying for the Paper-2 exam of SSC MTS 2021, candidates will be shortlisted for the documents verification round and after the verification of documents, candidates will be finally selected and will be paid salary as per the 7th pay commission.
