Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the third stage of SSC CGL 2020 Exam today i.e November 22, 2020. Aspirants who qualified SSC CGL Tier-2 Mains exam appeared for descriptive exam today. Now that the exam is over, several SSC CGL experts and coaching institutes have published SSC CGL Tier-3 exam analysis. Candidates can check the level of the examination, what of questions were asked here.
As per SSC CGL experts, the examination was of easy level. The topic of the essay was “Importance of Environment Impact Assessment in India”. To score well in essay writing, one of the crucial aspects is following the Introduction, body and conclusion method. Aspirants who have started with some good, strong points and answered the question within the word limit can expect a good score this time.
One major change that experts have mentioned is that this year no question was asked from letter writing. Unlike the previous year, SSC has asked questions from Precis section. If we look at the past year trends, most of the questions are asked from Essay writing and letter writing. However, this time, the question from Precis was asked. Nevertheless, candidates answered Precis question with nervousness and ease.
The topic of SSC CGL Precis was Speaker vs Audience topic. Both the candidates and SSC CGL experts have reviewed the Precis section of easy level. Experts have pointed out that the content is always available in the questions. A candidate only has to shorten the content to one-third amount without leaving the important topics and word limit. Those who have not overlooked any important point of the Precis can expect a good score.
Now that the third stage of SSC CGL Tier-3 is over, aspirants should start the preparation for the last stage. Aspirants who qualify the descriptive exam will be appearing for skill test. This stage includes the DV, CPT and DEST. The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) both are qualifying in nature. Any candidate who takes CPT exam is not required to appear for DEST round. This is because SSC considers part 1 of CPT exam for DEST evaluation. Also, SSC conducts Document Verification (DV) round as well.
After the CPT/ DEST/ DV round is conducted, a final merit list for SSC CGL 2020 Exam is published for each category of the post. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks of Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 and candidate’s preference of post.
