SRM University has started slot booking for SRMJEEE 2021. The booking has started at the ‘online admission portal’. Candidates need user id and password to book the slot. The University has already sent both at the registered e-mail id of the aspirants. Every student has received a unique user id and password and only via it booking can be done.
The slot booking for SRMJEEE 2021 is open only for 2 days, i.e. May 20 and 21, 2021. Thereafter, SRM university shall conduct mock tests for Phase I, on May 20 and 21, 2021. These mock tests shall be conducted to help candidates get accustomed to the online remote-proctored exam format. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2021 Phase I exam is scheduled to be held on May 23 and 24, 2021. Once the examination is conducted, authorities will announce the results on May 27, 2021, on the official website srmist.edu.in.
The booking is done on the first-come-first-served-bases and once the slot is booked, it cannot be altered. Through it, candidates can book a test date and time. To do the booking, candidates need to visit srmist.edu.in and locate the link for SRMJEEE 2021 slot booking. To access the booking portal, candidates need to enter user id and password. If the candidates have forgotten the password then they may use the ‘forgot password’ button to retrieve it. Once login opens, candidates can see and select slot and exam date for SRMJEEE 2021. After the booking is done, candidates can download their SRMJEEE 2021 admit card.
SRMJEEE Phase I mock tests shall be conducted on May 20 and 21, 2021. All candidates are advised to appear for the mock tests to understand the exam interface and get comfortable or accustomed to the exam pattern. The link to the mock tests shall be published on the official website on May 20 and 21, 2021. However, before accessing the link, all aspirants are required to install the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) on their device. Thereafter, they must follow all the instructions mentioned in the instruction manual.
The university authorities have also advised candidates to appear for the mock tests well-in advance before the exam to avoid any inconvenience or last-minute chaos. Furthermore, only those candidates who have taken the mock test shall be permitted to appear for the SRMJEEE 2021 exam on the scheduled date and time.
SRMJEEE 2021 exam shall be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration and candidates are expected to login to the portal 60 minutes prior to the commencement of exam. During the mock tests, aspirant’s login credentials shall be recorded in the portal. The same credentials are to be used while accessing the main exam. If not recorded, candidates can use the login credentials mentioned in the admit card.
During the 60 minutes before the exam, aspirants have to click a photograph of themselves, provide the ID proof and read the important exam instructions. They shall not be allowed to exit the test portal before 120 minutes of the total exam duration. After 120 minutes are over and candidates are ready to submit their paper, they must click on the “I want to submit the test” button to close the exam. However, the test closes automatically after the completion of exam time.
