SRM University has commenced their admission session for the year 2019. The University intakes B.Tech admission on the basis of performance of the applicants in their entrance exam known as SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE). The SRMJEEE 2019 Exam will be held from April 15 to 25, 2019. The registration for SRMJEEE 2019 for B.Tech admission is now open and the last date to register is March 31, 2019.
To take admission in the B.Tech courses it is mandatory to crack the SRMJEEE 2019 exam, thus it is important that the candidates are aware of the syllabus for the exam. The SRMJEEE 2019 Syllabus contains 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The CBSE students will find a quite a lot of similarities in the syllabus.
In the Physics section, the questions are asked from Units and Measurement, Mechanics, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations and Wave Motion, Heat and Thermodynamics, Ray and Wave Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Atomic Physics and Relativity, Dual Nature of Matter and Nuclear Physics, and Electronics and Communication.
For the Chemistry Section, questions are from the topics like Atomic Structure, States of Matter, Chemical Families–Periodic Properties, Chemical Bonding, Molecular Structure and s-& p- block elements, Chemical Thermodynamics & Energetics, Solutions, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Catalysis and Nuclear Chemistry, Purification and Characterisation of Organic Compounds, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Polymers, and BioMolecules.
In Mathematics the questions are framed from topics like Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants and their applications, Combinatorics, Algebra, Differential Calculus and its applications, Integral Calculus & Differential Equations of the first order, Analytical Geometry, Vector Algebra, and Statistics and Probability.
The number of questions that are asked in each section is 35. The total marks in the paper is 315, where each question carries 3 marks. There is no negative marking in SRMJEEE.
How does one prepare for the SRMJEEE 2019 exam? To prepare for the SRMJEEE 2019 exam, candidates will require to master the basics. To do so the first thing to complete is the NCERT books. The NCERT books must the bible for preparing for any engineering entrance exam and not only SRMJEEE 2019.

Next, it is important to go through the previous years question paper of SRMJEEE.
