Sociology is an optional subject for CBSE Class 12 students. It has been introduced to help the learners on what they see in the actual society. Learning Sociology helps the students to develop a better environment and the attitude towards the society. Thus, the Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced this subject. So, those candidates who have opted this subject can now download its sample paper.
CBSE Class 12 Sociology Sample Paper 2019 is available online on the official website i.e. on cbse.nic.in. The link to get the model paper is present under the section “Examinations” which is available on the homepage of the website. Now, click on the link and the model paper will appear. It is available in the pdf format.
The sample paper of Sociology is divided into three sections. The sections are named as Section A, Section B, and Section C. There will be a total of 25 questions in the question paper.
In the first section, question number 1 to 14 are there. These are very short answer type questions. Each question carries 2 marks. The answer to each question should not exceed 30 words. Considering the second section, the students will get the question number from 15 to 21. These questions have been considered as short answer type questions and each question is having 4 marks each. The answer to each question should not exceed 80 words. Candidates will be able to see question number 22 to 25. The long answer type questions will be there. 6 marks will be provided to each question in this section. The answer to each question should not exceed 200 words. The question number 25 is to be answered with the help of the given passage.
As per the latest news, the practical date sheet for CBSE students will be issued on December 11, 2018. For the written exams, the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 will be released in the second week of January 2019. Although there is no confirmation about the date sheet release from the board’s side. But on the basis of the previous year’s date sheet, the excepted date has been provided. The board exams will begin in the month of February 2019 for the vocational subjects while for the core subjects, the exams will be held in the month of March 2019.
