Science Olympiad Foundation, SOF has released the answer key 2019-20 for set C of National Science Olympiad. SOF released the answer key today, December 17, 2019, for the exam that was held on November 21, 2019. The answer keys have been made public and are published on the official website, available at sofworld.org.
SOF has released the answer key for all the classes i.e 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. For all the classes the answer keys are published in the pdf format. And one needs no login credentials to access the key and check the answers. Set C answer keys have been released class wise with actionable links for download. Students who appeared for the exam just have to go to the website and click on the relevant links to open the pdf files without having any login requirement.

However, students can follow the detailed steps mentioned here to download the answer key for the respective class. First step is to visit the official website, sofworld.org. On the main page, out of the tabs provide, click on the “SOF NSO” tab. Doing this will open all the details and current information regarding the National Science Olympiad. After this look for the “update zone” on the right-hand side of the website. Under section one can check for “answer keys and cut off”. Click on this and thereafter a new page gets generated containing the answer and cut off.
Students from thereon can select the link stating “SOF NSO Answer Keys Set C”. This lands to a new page containing the class-wise downloadable link of pdfs of answer key. The answer key officially published contains the answers for the questions asked in the paper. Right answers are provided as the option number for a particular question.
SOF has provided the answers for all the 35 questions asked in the examination for classes 1 to 4 and for all the 50 questions asked for classes 5 to 12. And for class 11 and 12 separate answers key is provided for subjects like mathematics and biology under the same pdf.
Based on the answers provided under this key, students paper will be evaluated and marks will be calculated. Based on the marks, SOF will announce the eligible students for availing the scholarship. The amount of scholarship and what prize one will get will purely be based upon the marks a student is getting in the exam. SOF provides scholarships at different levels, one at international and another at the zonal level and for classes 1&2.
While, classes 1 and 2 students will directly be awarded scholarships based on level 1 examination which was held on November 11 and 21, 2019. And for other classes, stage 1 is a qualifying exam for selecting the students for stage 2; those who clear both stages will be given awards and scholarship as per the SOF ranking criteria.
The result of the conducted examination, as per the given information at sofworld.org, will be declared within 8 weeks or 2 months of the exam. On that note, students can except and it can also be anticipated that the result for SOF NSO 2019-20 will get declared by end-December 2019.
