The registration for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2021 will be closing today. The registration window was open from 31st August. The candidates who had not paid the registration fees could make changes in their application form and pay the registration fees of Rs.1950 till 30th November. The admit cards will be available for download at the official website, snaptest.org, on December 02, 2021.
The SNAP exams will be conducted on three different dates in 94 cities across the country. The first exam will be held on December 19, 2021, from 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. the second date of the examination is January 8, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the last one on January 16, 2022, from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. A candidate is allowed to sit for a maximum of two exams out of the three and their higher scoring test will be considered for the calculation of the final percentile. Symbiosis International (Deemed) University has specifically mentioned on their website that all the tests will have a normal spread i.e. the difficulty level for all papers will be the same and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
SNAP is an online test for a total of 60 marks to be finished in 60 minutes. General English, comprehension, verbal reasoning, and ability comprise 15 marks. Logical and analytical reasoning comprises 25 marks; arithmetical and statistical questions are asked for a total of 20 marks. It is an MCQ (multiple-choice question) test with a negative marking system of 25%. The results for these exams will be announced on the 1st of February, 2022.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection processes. It is followed by a Group Exercise (GE), a Personal Interview (PI), and a writing ability test. The SNAP score is scaled down to 50 marks and the GE and writing ability test comprises 10 marks each. The PI accounts for 30 marks. A merit list is prepared for a total of 100 marks.
SNAP is conducted for admissions into one of the sixteen Symbiosis MBA schools and is considered one of the most important MBA exams after CAT and XAT.
