The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department (UPBED) has released the online application form for the admission of students from underprivileged and downtrodden areas of the state to class 1 and/or pre-primary classes under the Right To Education (RTE) Act of the parliament. This is to ensure free and compulsory education for all as guaranteed by the act. The students can apply for admission on the official website of UPBED RTE admission at rpe25.upsdc.gov.in. The students can apply for admission from today March 2, 2022, under the first phase of admissions.

As given in the table above, the phase-wise exam and application date for all subcategories are scheduled between March to June 2022. Admissions to the students will be given on April 05 in first phase, May 05 in second phase, and June 30 in the third phase respectively.
How to Apply for RTE Admission 2022
The application for RTE admission can be submitted online through the official website. The application can be submitted by following the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of UP RTE admission at rpe25.upsdc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the Online Application/Student Login link on the right side of the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required details on the page and click on the register
Step 4: A Student Registration Slip will be displayed on the screen, click on the Complete the Form tab on the page.
Step 5: Enter the details of the student.
Step 6: Upload the supporting documents.
Step 7: Select 10 schools as options from the drop-down menu for admission and click on save.
Step 8: The details entered by the student will be displayed on the screen.
Step 9: Edit the form if there are any mistakes and click on Lock and Final Print.
Step 10: Take a printout of the final application displayed on the screen.

The provision to apply for RTE admission offline has been taken away by the UP government. However, the parents who were unable to submit online applications on the prescribed dates will be given an opportunity to submit the application offline to the District Basic Education officers. The dates to apply offline will be notified 5 days prior to the application window.
