Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has finally announced exam date for RRB Loco Pilot 2018 stage 1 computer based test. Indian Railway will be conducting examination for ALP / Technician Recruitment 2018 from August 09, 2018. The candidates will get to know their exam city, date, and session on July 26, 2018, on the official websites of RRBs.

Along with the exam dates, the Board has also announced that the mock test link will be available on July 26, 2018. The candidates must avail the mock test facility, because through it once can understand how the exam will be. By understanding the exam before hand, candidates can stay prepared and not waste time in understanding the exam instructions.
The admit card of RRB ALP 2018 will be released 4 days before the exam date. Hence, the candidates can expect it to be available for downloading on either August 04 or August 05, 2018. The admit card will be available at the candidate login, which can be accessed by entering the registration id and date of birth.
The admit card is an important document for the exam and the candidates must carry it as a print copy on the exam day. Along with the admit card, the candidates will also have to carry on photo id proof and two copies of the photograph. A valid id proof can be passport, voter id card, aadhaar card, etc. The photograph to be carried should be the same as that used while applying.
Candidates who have applied under SC / ST category can download travel authority. By downloading this document, candidates will get free travel passes for computer based test. It should be noted that this facility is only for candidates of SC and ST category.
RRB ALP 2018 will be a 60 minutes examination. However, candidate belonging to PwD category accompanied with will get 80 minutes. Within the given duration, candidates will have to attempt 75 questions on Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness on Current Affairs. All the questions will be of multiple choice type and in the exam negative marking of 1/3 marks will be done. The syllabus of the exam is as follows
To qualify CBT, the candidates will have to surpass minimum cut off. It is 40% for UR and 30% for OBC and SC candidates. For the candidates belonging to ST category the cut off will be 25%.
