The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the exam date and city intimation for the registered candidates. To check the exam date and city for RRB Paramedical Computer-based test, the candidates need to visit the official website of their respective RRB zone. Along with the City & Date Intimation Letter, the Board has also published the Travel Pass for SC/ST.
To download the City & Date Intimation Letter and Travel Pass for SC/ST, the candidates need to visit the official website of their respective Board’s zone. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the relevant link. Next, the candidates have to login by entering their User id and date of birth. Submit the login details and then in the next screen, the candidates will be able to check their exam date and city allotted for the Computer-based test.
The travel pass authority is issued to only SC/ST category candidates and can be downloaded from the Candidate Login only. Such candidates will be
able to book the ticket on submission of self-attested photocopy of the Admit card and SC/ST Certificate. Furthermore, at the time of the journey, such candidates need to carry original SC/ST Certificate and one original prescribed proof of identity for undertaking journey failing which they will be treated as travelling without ticket and shall be charged accordingly.
On the day of the test, the candidates need to carry a print out of the Paramedical 2019 CBT Admit Card, a valid Photo ID like Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar (not Xerox copy of Aadhaar), Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer. In case the candidate is a Govt. employee, College / University Photo ID card, SSLC/HSC mark sheet with photo, and one (01) colour photograph (of size 35mm x 45mm) which was uploaded in the application.
The Computer-based test for RRB Paramedical exam is of 90 minutes duration. The test consist of 100 MCQ type questions of total 100 marks. The CBT is divided into 04 sections – Professional ability (70 Questions), General Awareness (10 questions), General Arithmetic (10 questions), General Intelligence and reasoning (10 questions), and General science (10 questions).
Candidates appearing for the CBT should note that there is a negative marking for an incorrect answer. There will be a deduction of 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question for each wrong answer.
There a total of 1937 vacancies for the posts under Paramedical which includes dietician, staff nurse, speech therapist, etc. The candidates are recruited for the posts under Paramedical on the basis of their performance in the Computer-based test, Document verification, and medical fitness.
