NTA published the final answer key of UGC NET 2019 late last night at ntanet.nic.in. The National Testing Agency uploaded a single file containing final answer key of all 81 subjects, held on all exam dates. No login is required to see it; candidates can simply download and go through it. Coming next, is result of UGC NET 2019!
Final answer key comprises of question IDs and their correct option IDs. Wherever questions have been deemed incorrect, a long dashed line is marked against it (looks like ——–) instead of any answer. For all such marked questions, these questions are cancelled. NTA is awarding +2 marks to all candidates who have appeared in exam for all such cancelled questions.
Last time, NTA had released final answer key after result. It is a pleasant surprise for all test takers to be getting it prior to result this time. Furthermore, result of UGC NET June 2019 is now anticipated to be announced before officially notified date of 15th July. Expected date for result, as per past year trends is today, 10th July.
There is no negative marking in National Eligibility Test. Thus, candidates will get 2 marks for all questions they have correctly marked and submitted, correctly marked and marked for review, and for cancelled questions. This is applicable to both paper 1 as well as paper 2. Then on basis of this marking scheme, and final answer key, raw score of candidates is calculated. This score is further subjected to normalization to arrive at NTA percentile score.
UGC NET Result 2019 is coming soon. In it, candidates will be informed of their score, percentile, and qualifying status. Those who obtain 40% marks in aggregate (35% for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / Transgender) are considered for merit. Thereupon, they should get cut off score specific to their subject in order to appear in top 6% and qualify.
NTA UGC NET, National Eligibility Test was held on 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, and 26th June. Question paper and response sheets were released on 28th June. Then answer key was issued on 1st July. Candidates could check them and challenge them until 3rd July.
On basis of UGC NET, candidates are determined eligible for Assistant Professor only, or eligible for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor. The former group get award letter by post. Whereas the latter can download the e-Certificate from ugcnetonline.in.
