RPSC ASO Recruitment 2020: Notification Out, Application Begins from July 10, Apply @rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in for 11 Posts

Aspirants with Postgraduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics can submit their applications online before August 10, 2020

Rajasthan Public Service Commission is inviting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Statistical Officer. Eligible candidates can now submit the application for 11 vacant posts for ASO. Aspirants are shortlisted under the pay matrix level-11. More information related to the recruitment is available in the official notification with advt. no. 02/Recruiment/ASO/Ag. Deptt/EP-I/2020-21 which can be downloaded from rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The application process begins from July 10, 2020, onwards. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can submit their online application on or before August 10, 2020.

The application procedure for RPSC ASO recruitment 2020 is conducted online through rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Make sure that before beginning with the online application process, aspirants possess an active email ID and mobile number. Candidates have to ensure that they register themselves through SSO website, sso.rajasthan.gov.in. After the Login ID is generated, visit the recruitment portal using Citizen Apps (G2C). Candidates have to fill up the application form and pay the application fee through the recruitment portal to generate the application ID. EWS/General candidates/Candidates of Rajasthan candidates who belong to OBC/EBC (Creamy layer) have to pay Rs.350/- and Rajasthani Non-creamy layer OBC/EBC class candidates have to pay Rs.250/- as the application fee.

In case, candidates have provided incorrect details in their application form then they can edit their details online. They can edit their information entered during the application process up to 10 days after the process is over. For this, candidates have to make a payment of Rs.300/-. Except for the name, candidates can edit all other information of RPSC ASO application form. To make corrections in the name, candidates have to send offline applications to the commission.

To apply for the post, candidates must have a post-graduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics or M.Sc in Agriculture Statistics from IARS, New Delhi. Along with this, they must also possess a working knowledge of Hindi language in Devanagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture. For RPSC ASO recruitment, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years as on January 01, 2021. The upper age relaxation is provided as per the reservation policy discussed in the official notification.

The selection process of the candidates is conducted through three stages which are scrutiny test, academic weightage and interview. The complete selection procedure is conducted for 100 marks. RPSC conducts the scrutiny test at Jaipur/Ajmer. The time and venue for the test are intimated to candidates through the official website. The examination is conducted for 40 marks in which objective type questions are asked. This test is followed by Academic qualification verification which is conducted for 20 marks. Qualified candidates are then invited for the interview round which carries 40 marks.
