Government Maternity Hospital, Tirupati is inviting offline applications to fill up 69 Staff Nurse vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply on the prescribed proforma available on the website svmctpt.edu.in and chittoor.ap.gov.in. The last date of receipt of applications is July 15, 2020, till 5.00 pm. The selection of the applicants for the final appointment is done purely on the grounds of merit. A detailed advertisement in this regard is available at the aforementioned websites along with the appended application proforma. The provisional merit list is deemed to be published on July 22, 2020, while the final merit list is scheduled to be published on July 25, 2020. The final document verification stage and issuance of appointments are scheduled to be held on July 28, 2020.
The 69 Staff Nurse posts advertised are all contractual in nature. Candidates having a B.Sc./GNM are eligible to apply provided that the qualification is recognized by the Nursing Council of India Rules. Candidates are also required to have adequate knowledge of computers. The cut-off date to determine the age limit is 01.07.2020. The maximum permissible age of applicants on this date is 42 years. However, relaxations are applicable as per government norms for candidates belonging to specific reserved categories.
Eligible applicants are to be selected on the basis of merit. Out of a total of 100 marks, 75% is allocated to the score of the candidates in the qualifying exam while 15% marks are awarded to the existing staff in 104 (MMU) in HDS/CDS/Aarogyasri/Trauma care/APSACS and other government of India schemes on a contractual basis. Candidates can also secure 10 additional marks at the rate of 1 mark, awarded for each completed year after passing the qualification. Finally appointed candidates are entitled to receive a fixed monthly payment of Rs 34000 throughout the contract period.
Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs 300 although rules of reservation in vogue are applicable as per the provisions made in the official notice. Candidates are required to deposit the fee in the account number 052010011009033 of Andhra Bank, SVMC Branch, Tirupati IFSC Code: ANDB0000520. After downloading the application form, candidates need to fill it up with all the necessary information. Photographs, signed across with ballpoint pen must be affixed with the application form in the designated spaces. The applications must be complete in all respect and duly signed by the applicant. Incomplete applications are liable to lead to the rejection of the candidature.
Candidates are also required to enclose attested copies of all specified documents with the application form. These documents include the marks memos of academic and professional qualification, provisional pass certificates, proof of birth date, caste certificate, study certificates from Class 4 to 10, nursing registration certificate, disability certificate, fee receipt, service certificate for employed staff. The applications must be sent to the specified address by Registered post or in-person to The Office of the Superintendent, Government Maternity Hospital, Tirupati before the last date.
