Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has begun preparations for the 1st Grade Teacher Recruitment 2021/2022, as suggested by a latest news report. The recruitment drive will be conducted for filling-up a total of 6000 vacancies. The education ministry has already informed the state government about the total vacancies. Soon, the recruitment drive will begin for eligible candidates. Prior to this news update, here’s what candidates already knew.
In the beginning of November 2021, Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, tweeted abiut the RPSC 1st Grade Teacher 2021 recruitment drive. he had also attached an image of decisions taken during the review meeting prior to posting this tweet. Accordingly, as many as 60,000 vacancies will be filled in schools across the state. These vacancies are spread across various posts. Although the exact number of vacancies under the RPSC 2021 recruitment drive will be released soon, one thing has been confirmed by news reports – as many as 6000 lecturers or 1st Grade teachers will be inducted. So, those who clear the selection process as well as document verification will be able to pursue their dream of teaching within schools located in Rajasthan.
Additionally, CM Gehlot’s tweet had also shed light on other decisions taken during the review meeting. For starters, RPSC will also be releasing the waiting list for of Grade 3 PTI recruitment which began in 2011. Similarly, waiting list for Senior Lecture Recruitment notified in 2016 will also be released soon. Concerned departments had already been instructed to complete the recruitment process as soon as possible.
This year, as many as 481 upper primary schools will be upgraded to secondary schools. Similarly, 145 secondary schools in Rajasthan will be upgraded to higher secondary schools. Efforts will also be made to increase the number of English medium mahatma Gandhi schools in cities.
With this upgradation, there will be an urgent requirement for qualified teachers to teach secondary and higher secondary classes. Moreover, the number of vacancies under the post of Physical Education (PE) teacher have also been increased. This is another contributing factor to the assumption that RPSC Recruitment Drive 2021 will begin soon.
