Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, Rajasthan, is expected to release the provisional answer key soon for the Rajasthan Eligibility Entrance Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021 exam. Candidates can expect this answer key to release on the official website reetbser21.com. REET 2021 was held on September 26, 2021, across the state. Authorities are yet to provide an exact date for answer key release. Moreover, this exam was conducted after a span of 3 years i.e., after 2018. Hence, it’s difficult to guess the exact timeline of events. However, candidates can still take 2018’s reference and gauge a tentative date for the provisional answer key release.
In 2018, the REET examination was held on March 11, 2018. Authorities released the official provisional answer key 08 days later, on March 19, 2018. Based on this trend, the provisional answer key for REET 2021 was expected to release on October 04, 2021. However, answer keys are yet to release and hence, candidates can expect them to come out in the second week of October 2021. This is just a prediction and authorities are yet to provide any confirmation on the same.
After the release of REET 2021 provisional answer key, candidates will get 1-2 days to raise objections against the answer key. They are expected to provide adequate proof and representation to justify their objection. Authorities will be considering all objections that they receive and incorporate the valid ones into the provisional answer key. After doing so, a final answer key will be released around the same time as the results.
Apart from raising objections, candidates can also use the REET 2021 provisional answer key to calculate their tentative exam scores. They can compare this exam score with the past-year cut-offs to determine their chances of qualifying the exam. Once it is established that they will qualify the exam, candidates can check the individual past-year cut-offs to know their chances of getting admission into their preferred colleges. This is always useful to understand their future course of action.
To calculate their tentative score, candidates must simply calculate the number of correct answers in the REET 2021 examination. As per the marking scheme, each question will be allotted 1 mark. Hence, the number of correct answers will be equal to the score obtained in the exam. Of course, candidates must consider a difference of 10-15 marks between the tentative score and actual score. However, to know whether a candidate has qualified the exam or not, this is the best and most instant solution.
