The Reserve Bank of India is going to conduct the final stage interviews for DEPR and DSIM 2019 recruitment on revised dates announced on the official website. RBI previously deferred the final stage interviews for the aforementioned recruitments due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the country. However, as per the latest official updates on rbi.org.in, the revised schedule to conduct the interviews is now available. The interviews for DSIM 2019 recruitment are scheduled to be held on and from August 05, 2020, to August 25, 2020. On the other hand, the interviews for DEPR 2019 are scheduled to be held on and from August 18 to August 21, 2020.
The interviews for DSIM 2019 are going to be held on August 5, 6, 7 and 22 in New Delhi and on August 24 & 25 in Mumbai. On the other hand, the interviews for DEPR 2019 are scheduled to be held on August 18, 19, 20 and 21 in New Delhi. The RBI is set to notify the place of interview through the website in due course of time. However, the interviews in Mumbai are to be held at Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Reserve Bank of India Building, Third Floor, Opposite Mumbai Central Railway Station (East), Byculla, Mumbai – 400008. Candidates must note that other terms and conditions of the interviews remain unchanged as indicated in the call letters issued earlier to shortlisted candidates.
RBI was pushed to defer the final stage interviews for Grade B (DR) – DSIM 2019 and Grade B (DR) DEPR recruitment 2019 due to the prevalent COVID-19 crisis in the country. The interviews for DSIM 2019 were earlier scheduled to be held on an from April 20 to 28, 2020. On the other hand, the interviews for DEPR 2019 were earlier scheduled to be held on an from May 4 to 7, 2020. Those who appeared and qualified through the first two selection stages of RBI Grade B (DR) DSIM and Grade B (DR) DEPR recruitment 2019, were shortlisted in the results that came out on 18 and 26 December, 2019 on the official RBI website. Accordingly, the RBI announced the schedule of dates for conducting the final interviews for candidates shortlisted through the results but was later pushed to postpone them due to the unfavorable COVID-19 situations in India.
Incidentally, the Reserve Bank of India initiated the DEPR and DSIM recruitment process in 2019 for the recruitment of eligible candidates into Grade B officer posts. The selection consists of three phases where the first two phases have been concluded in 2019. However, the final interview stage is one which must be taken by all candidates shortlisted through the Phase-II examination. When RBI deferred the interview dates by issuing official notices in March and April 2020 due to the prevalent COVID-19 situations, candidates were indicated that the Bank would release the new dates to conduct the interviews in due course of time.
