The Jai Narayan Vyas University (JNVU), Jodhpur, the conducting authority of PTET 2022, has released a notification on April 2, 2022, regarding the extension of the deadline for the Rajasthan Pre Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET) 2022. According to the notification, aspiring candidates can apply for Rajasthan PTET 2022 till April 15. The admit card for the exam will be released in due course of time. The written examination of PTET 2022 will be held on July 3, 2022.
Rajasthan PTET 2022 Eligibility
The Rajasthan PTET exam 2022 is conducted to provide admission to 2 year B.Ed and 4 year Integrated B.A. B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed at various universities across the state. To be eligible to attend the test the candidates must:
For 2 Year B.Ed
- Must have a valid graduation and post-graduation from any university recognized by the Rajasthan Board of Education with at least 50% aggregate marks. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to the reserved categories
For 4 Year Integrated BA B.Ed/ BSc B.Ed
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 education from the Rajasthan Board of Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks. For this exam also, there is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates from reserved categories.

Rajasthan PTET 2022 Examination Pattern
The question paper of Rajasthan PTET 2022 is divided into four sections of 50 questions each. The sections are Mental Ability, Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, English/Hindi The duration of the exam is 3 hours. All the questions are objective-type and MCQ-based. Each question carries 3 marks and the total marks for Rajasthan PTET 2022 is 600 marks. There is no negative marking for PTET 2022. According to the official website, the tentative date of PTET 2022 is July 3, 2022.
