Home Guards Department, Rajasthan is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 2500 Home Guards posts. In order to download the official notification, candidates are advised to visit the official website, which is home.rajasthan.gov.in. Applications for the said posts are invited through online procedure. The registration and application process is carried out through sso.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates can submit their online applications from June 10, 2020, to July 09, 2020, before 12 PM. The application procedure that was earlier scheduled from April 07, 2020, to May 06, 2020, was adjourned due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Candidates willing to join the Rajasthan Home Guard department should fulfil the eligibility criteria first. They should have passed 8th standard to be eligible for Rajasthan Home Guard Recruitment. Candidates must be a domicile of the district they wish to apply for. The minimum age limit for Rajasthan Home Guard recruitment is 18 years. Eligible candidate’s age should not exceed the upper age limit of 35 years as on April 01, 2020. Along with this, the Rajasthan Home Guards Department has also prescribed the Physical Standards. Before applying for the post, candidates are advised to go through the official notification carefully, in order to know whether they fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria or not.
The application procedure for the announced post of Rajasthan Home Guard is accepted only through online process. Candidates have to visit the official website, sso.rajasthan.gov.in to create an SSO ID. Hereafter, an application form can be submitted through recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in or e-Mitra Kiosk. General category and Other Backward Class candidates have to pay Rs.200/- as the application fee. For those who belong to SC/ST/EWS/MBC category have to make a payment of Rs.175/- as the fee. Candidates can pay the application fee only through Net banking, Debit/credit card, E-Mitra Kiosk. Once the application fee payment is completed, a mail indicating the successful submission of application is sent to the registered email address.
Rajasthan Home Guards Department conducts the selection procedure in three stages. First, document verification for the candidates is done. For this, shortlisted candidates have to carry their original certificate along with the self-attested photocopies of the certificates/documents to support the educational qualification, reservation claims, etc. The next round is the Physical Standard Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test. The PET round is conducted for 50 marks which includes PET of 30 marks and special eligibility of 20 marks. Candidates have to secure minimum 15 marks in PET and 40 marks in the overall round. The result is prepared on the basis of marks secured in the PET round.
