Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare RRB Group D Result 2018 on February 17, 2019. The date for the announcement of result has been informed by the newspaper and there is no official notice regarding the same. Earlier the reports stated that the result will be out on February 13, 2019, but Indian Railway is taking time to announce error free RRB Group D result.

Talking to one of the prestigious daily, an RRB Official Angraj Mohan, clarified that the Railway Board is taking time to announce the result because it wants to ensure that the result of all the candidates is announced correctly and only the deserving get through to the next round.

Looking at RRB ALP 2018 Result blunder, it seem valid that RRB is taking time to announce the result correctly in one go. Almost 1.8 crore candidates appeared for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 and of these, RRB has to select candidates twice the number of vacancies for Physical Test round. The vacancies for Group C Level-1 is 62907, hence, 1.2 lakh candidates will be selected for next round.

The result of RRB Group D 2018, will be announced on the official website of RRBs, which are 16 in number. It will be announced as merit list and scorecard. The merit list of RRB Group D 2018 will only contain the name and roll numbers of candidates qualified for PET. However, the scorecard will be released for all the candidates and will state their raw score, pro-rata marks, normalized marks, etc.

The qualifying candidates will have to perform two tasks in RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test. The candidates will have to carry weight and run. Male Candidates have to run for 1000 meters which needs to be covered in 4 min 15 Sec. Female candidates have to cover a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

Male candidates have to lift 35 kg weight for 100m distance. Women candidates have to also lift a weight of 25 kg for 100m distance. Both male and females have to cover the distance in 2 min. They will get only one chance to complete both tasks.

Candidates qualifying PET will be called for the round of RRB Group D Document Verification. In this round, candidates are required to be present with the necessary documents at the specified date. Failure of the submission of the documents will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. The final selection of the candidates is going to be based on the medical exam which will be conducted at the Railway Hospitals.
