The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has finally released an official notification for RRB ALP Revised Result and CBT 2 dates. The Railway Board is likely to announce ALP Revised Result for 1st stage CBT by December 20, 2018. The dates for Loco Pilot CBT 2 has been shifted in January 2019.
The result for Stage 1 CBT for RRB ALP Recruitment 2018 was announced on November 02, 2018. To announce the result, the Board did not consider the representations against the answer key and that lead to the incorrect result. Now, the Board is considering all the representation and will release the revised result on the basis of the new final answer key.
The candidates will be able to check their revised result for RRB ALP Stage 1 CBT online. To check the result, visit the official website of the RRB for which a candidate has applied for. Next, click on the link which says “CEN-01/2018 – Revised result of Stage 1 CBT”. On clicking the relevant link, the result will be available in the pdf format. The revised result will consist of the Roll Numbers of the candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) as per their merit and post preferences.
The Board has also notified the rescheduled date for conducting Stage 2 CBT. The Exam date for 2nd Stage CBT has been rescheduled on January 21, 22, and 23, 2019. All the shortlisted candidates will be to download their Exam City Intimation in about 10 days prior to the 2nd Stage CBT. Furthermore, the admit card to appear in the Second stage CBT will be available for download four (04) days prior to examination date.
The Second Stage CBT shall have two parts viz Part A and Part B. Part A will be of total 90 minutes duration and there will be 100 number of questions. For Part A, the candidates need to prepare topics such as Mathematics (25 Questions), General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 Questions), Basic Science and Engineering (40 Questions), and General Awareness and Current Affairs (10 Questions).
To qualify Part A, the candidates need to obtain at least 40% in case of UR category, 30% in case of OBC and SC, and 25% for ST category candidates.
Part B of the Second stage CBT is of 60 Minutes duration and the candidates need to solve 75 questions in the given duration. This part is qualifying in nature and shall have questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by DGET for all the ITI/NAC trades. For Maths and Physics exam trade, the syllabus will be as per the CBSE syllabus of 10+2.
