PSEB Class 12 Result 2018 has been declared. You can check it on the official website http://www.pseb.ac.in. If you are facing any trouble in checking the result then the students can check it on the websites punjab.indiaresults.com or http://www.examresults.net. Ludhiana students got the top positions in PSEB Class 12th Result for both academic and sports category.
As per the reports, the result has been announced but there is no link available on the websites till now. So students are advised not to panic, the result might be updated soon.
The students can check the result by logging on to the official website. The students are having two options to check the result. They will have to enter either the Roll Number or the Name to do so. The result is available in the pdf format. It has contained the marks of the students individually for each subject and the overall total marks.
This year, total 3,00,417 students appeared for class 12 exam in which around 198,199 students have passed the exams. The overall pass percentage of the students of Class 12 is 65.97% which includes the pass percentage of regular students i.e. 68.42% and of the open school students i.e. 40.07%.
In academic category, Pooja Joshi secured the first position by obtaining 98%. The second position is grabbed by Vivek with 97.55& and the third rank has been secured by Jasnoor Kaur having 97.33%
If we talk about the sports category, Prachi Gaur and Pushwinder Kau got 100% and Mandeep Kaur obtained 99.56%.
Both the first and second ranked students are from Ludhiana while Jasnoor Kaur is from Muktsar Sahib and Mandeep Kaur is from Faridkot.
Last year’s pass percentage was 79.98% in which the overall pass percentage of girls was 71.32% and of the boys’ was 83.22%.
Punjab School Education Board is a state level board which came into existence in 1969. It was established through a legislative enactment. The authority founded the board for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. The responsibilities and authorities of the board are very wide. It covers almost every aspect/stage of school education of Punjab State.
