Panjab University is going to conduct the PULEET 2022 exam for admission in the Engineering course soon. As per a notice released by the university today, the exam is going to be held on August 26, 2022, in a single shift. The exam shall be held from 2 pm to 3.40 pm across test centers located in Chandigarh and Hoshiarpur.
This examination is conducted to provide admission to students in the second year of the four year duration Engineering degree offered by the university. Candidates who are in the first year of the Diploma in Engineering course are eligible to apply for PULEET 2022 examination. The final selection of candidates is based on the candidate’s performance in the written exam and counselling round.
PULEET 2022 Exam Pattern
The duration of the PULEET is going to be one hour and forty minutes. The exam shall have 100 questions from General Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Environmental Studies. PULEET exam is going to be held for a total of 100 marks and a negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for wrong answers.
Will there be PULEET 2022 Cut Off Marks?
As per the previous year’s notification, the examination is not going to be having any cut off marks. The university releases a common merit list on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the PULEET exam in decreasing order. After this, the candidates are called for the counselling round. During the counselling round, the final admission is given on the basis of the course opted by the candidate and seat availability in the college preferred during the choice filling round.

The university takes up the seats lying vacant in the second year of Engineering courses for admission to candidates who qualify PULEET 2022 exam.
