Panjab University has announced the PUMEET 2022 exam date today, May 17, 2022. This exam is conducted for providing admission to candidates in the second year of the B.E. or B.Tech courses offered by the universities. As per the latest notice, the exam shall be held on August 26, 2022, from 10 am to 11.40 am. The exam shall be held in Chandigarh city only.
PUMEET 2022 Exam Pattern
PUMEET 2022 exam is conducted for a duration of 1 hour and 40 minutes. The exam is going to have questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Engineering and Communication Skills. Each question in the exam is going to account for 1 mark whereas 0.25 marks shall be deducted for wrong answers. Candidates who belong to unreserved categories have to score at least 15% cutoff marks. Whereas, those who belong to reserved category have to 10% cut off marks.
PUMEET 2022 Participating Colleges
As per last year’s notification, candidates who qualify for the PUMEET 2022 exam have to pay an immigration amount equal to INR 50,000 for getting admission to BE/B.Tech course if they do not belong to Panjab University. The candidates who qualify for the PUMEET 2022 exam become eligible to get admission in any of the B.Tech courses in any of the universities mentioned in the space below:

PUMEET 2022 Counselling Round
After the examination is over, the college conducts the counselling round. Based on the previous year’s exam notification, the counselling is held in two rounds. The university first releases a choice filling application form that candidates have to fill. Then, on the basis of their ranks, course opted and seat availability, they are assigned admission. Also, even after two rounds, any seat is left vacant then, the university can choose to conduct more rounds of counselling rounds.
