The police department, Government of Puducherry has released admit cards on January 7, 2022, for the Puducherry police examination. The written exam is going to be conducted for 431 vacancies for the posts of Police Constable, Radio Technician, and Deck Handlers. Here’s how candidates can access the admit card on the official website-
Step 1. Log in to the official website of the Puducherry police department, police.py.gov.in
Step 2. Click on the “admit card” link on the homepage of the website
Step 3. You’ll be redirected to a new window where you need to fill the required credentials I.e. application number and Date of Birth (DoB)
Step 4. Your hall ticket is displayed on the screen. Click on the “download” option and take a printout for future reference.
Examination center and time slots would be mentioned in the candidate’s hall ticket. In addition, examinees must keep in mind that they are expected to follow all Covid-19 protocols strictly at the center including frequent hand sanitization, use of face masks, and maintenance of social spacing as well as personal hygiene.
The exam is supposed to be held in the month of January in an offline mode through the OMR sheets. The paper will be two parts each of 100 marks. Both parts are of 120 minutes duration. In the first part, questions from mathematics, physical science, and human physiology (biology) will be asked which will contribute 30, 35, and 35 marks respectively.
In part II candidates will be tested from history, geography as well as general knowledge of current affairs. GK contributes 40 marks and the rest 30 marks each. The questions will be of SSLC (senior secondary leaving certificate) standard and objective questions. An additional personal interview round is also conducted for deck handlers. The physical assessment exam for the same has already been held on November 4, 2021. This year 13,951 candidates were physically eligible out of 16, 335 applicants who had applied for Police Constable posts. Similarly, 229 out of 254 and 588 out of 636 candidates successfully passed the physical assessment test for the posts of radio technician and deck handlers respectively.
