Prasar Bharti is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 07 contractual vacancies in Doordarshan News. The vacancies are for various research staff viz. Chief Researcher, Senior Researcher and Junior Researcher. The public service broadcaster of the nation has published an official recruitment notification in this regard at the website prasarbharti.gov.in. Interested candidates can apply by forwarding applications through registered post to the Deputy Director (HR) of Doordarshan News, New Delhi. The last date of receipt of applications is September 11, 2020.
As per the notification published at the Prasar Bharti website, the vacancies are to be filled up on annual contract basis for DD News. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Chief Researcher. One vacancy is also available for the post of Senior Researcher. In addition, 05 vacancies are also available for the post of Junior Researcher. However, the number of vacancies are indicative only. In any case, the decision of the competent authority is to be considered as final and binding. Appointed candidates will receive monthly remuneration at the rate of Rs 75000 for the post of Chief Researcher, Rs 48000 for the post of Senior Researcher and Rs 30000 for the post of Junior Researcher.
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the specified minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. Candidates within the maximum age of 50 years, holding a graduate degree and having a minimum experience of 08 years in Media organization and relevant field are eligible to apply for the post of Chief Researcher. On the other hand, graduate candidates within the age of 40 years and having a minimum of 06 years experience in Media organization and relevant field are eligible to apply for the post of Senior Researcher. Candidates within the age of 30 years, having a graduate degree and a minimum of 02 years experience in a media organization or relevant field are eligible to apply for the post of Junior Researcher.
The proforma to apply is appended with the detailed recruitment notification. Candidates must apply in the proforma only. An application fee of Rs 500 must be submitted in order to apply for recruitment to the aforementioned post. The fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of DDO, DD News, New Delhi. Completely filled up applications must be forwarded to the Deputy Director (HR), Doordarshan News, Room No. 413, Doordarshan Bhawan, Tower-B, Mandi House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi – 110001 so as to reach the authorities on or before the final date.
