Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Auditor. As per the official notification, a total of 11 vacancies are out for APPSC Assistant Auditor recruitment. Applications are invited before the last date of submission i. e September 26, 2020. Candidates interested in the recruitment can download the advertisement from the official website, appsc.gov.in.
The post of Assistant Auditor is announced under the Department of Audit & Pension, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Out of the total 11 vacancies, 09 are reserved for APST candidates and 02 are for unreserved category. After the final appointment, the newly recruited Assistant Auditor receives a monthly salary of Rs. 35400/- to Rs. 112400/-.
To apply for the post, candidates must possess B. Com/ BBA/ MBA (Finance)/ BA with Economics/ B. Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Those who have appeared or are appearing in such a qualifying examination can also apply. Such candidates have to furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination on or before the date of the interview. While applying the applicant’s age should not be less than 18 years or more than 32 years as on September 26, 2020. It is suggested to enter the age as per the 10th standard certificate or any other equivalent certificate.
Candidates applying for the post must register themselves first by visiting the official website, appsc.gov.in. They must use the One Time Registration (OTR) facility of APPSC to register themselves and get a registration ID. Those who are already registered are not required to repeat the procedure. While submitting the application form, candidates have to upload the signature and a latest passport size photograph. Also, they have to make online payment of the application fee. APST candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- and General category candidates have to pay Rs. 150/- as the application fee.
The selection process for this recruitment includes the written examination and interview round. Eligible candidates have to appear for the written examination for which the schedule is not yet out. The written examination is conducted for 300 marks. The question paper consists of 03 subjects – General English, General knowledge and Elementary Mathematics (up to class 10th). Those who secure a minimum 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate are called for the interview. Before they appear for the interview shortlisted candidates have to submit certain self-attested copies of the documents. The documents should be produced in the original when called for the interview.
