PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 Notification Releasing on Feb 15; Check Notice Here!

PGCIL has rescheduled the commencement of online application procedure from January 15, 2021 to February 15, 2021. Aspirants can download the notification on Feb 15, 2021 onwards.

Powergrid Corporation of India Limited has recently released an official notification regarding the post of Executive Trainee (ET) -26th batch through GATE 2021. The conducting body will be releasing the official notification for PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 on February 15, 2021. The online applications for the same will be available from February 15, 2021 onwards only. Interested candidates can download the notification and submit online applications through powergridindia.com. 

Earlier, the online applications for PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 was scheduled to start from January 15, 2021 onwards. However, due to some unknown reasons, PGCIL has decided to reschedule the recruitment dates. Now, the notification and applications form will be out on the same day that is February 15, 2021. 

Aspirants can locate the PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 Notification link under the “Careers” section. Thereafter, aspirants have to click on the “Recruitment of ET 26th batch through GATE 2021” to reach the notification and online application form link. 

Only those candidates are eligible to submit applications for PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 who have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Aspirants must have qualified the GATE exam in their specific disciplines. In addition, aspirants must fulfil the minimum qualification as well. They should possess full time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) from the recognized university/ institute. Candidates must have attained the minimum qualifying marks of 70% marks.

Eligible candidates can submit their online applications by visiting the official website powergridindia.com. They first have to register themselves with the Powergrid website. Aspirants are required to enter the details such as the GATE 2021 Application No., GATE 2021 Registration Number and other required information. Moreover, aspirants also have to make the payment of the required application fee. They have to pay Rs. 500/- as the non-refundable application fee. SC/ST/PwD/ Ex-SM/ Departmental candidates are exempted from the fee submission. 

Applicants will be shortlisted for the PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 on the basis of three stages. First, is the GATE 2021 Scores followed by group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who are declared qualified for the GATE 2021 Exam are eligible to appear for the further rounds. The qualifying marks for the GATE 2021 Exam are decided by the GATE 2021 conducting authority. Aspirants are shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview after the normalization of GATE Scores out of 100. The call letters for the interview and GD will be uploaded on the official website of Powergrid India. Candidates can check the final result for the PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2021.
