National Thermal Power Corporation invites online application for the post of Medical Specialist (Medicine/ O&G/ Pediatrics) and Medical (GDMO). As per the official notification, 60 vacancies are available under this recruitment. Online registrations in this regard have already been started. The total announced vacancies are bifurcated between two posts, which are Medical Specialist (Medicine/ O&G/ Pediatrics) and Medical (GDMO). Out of the total 60 vacancies, 37 are announced for Medical (GDMO) post. 23 vacancies are announced for Medical Specialist out of which 12 are for Medicine speciality, 05 are for O&G and 06 vacancies are for Pediatrics department. Candidates who are appointed as Medical (GDMO) receives a monthly salary of Rs, 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000/- and Medical Specialist gets Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000 for E3 and Rs. 70,000 – 2,00,000 for E4 posts.
Candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as specified by NTPC. Those who have MBBS with MD/MS in Medicine/ O&G/ Pediatrics can apply are eligible to apply for the Medical Specialist post. While applying for Medical Specialist, candidates should have passed MBBS degree from a recognized university. Moreover, candidates applying for both the posts must have relevant work experience in the concerned field. Those applying for E4 level Medical Specialist post must have minimum 01 years of work experience after MD/ MS. To apply for the E3 level Medical Specialist post, candidates must have fresh MD/ MS qualified doctor. Minimum 02 years of work experience is required after MBBS. Candidates upper age limit must not exceed that of 37 years while applying. Age relaxations are provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
Applications for the said posts can only be submitted through NTPC website, ntpccareers.net. Aspirants must have a valid email ID before registering. While submitting the application form, the candidate has to upload a photograph, challan number, bank reference number, date of the payments and other information.
With the submission of the NTPC recruitment application form, candidates also have to submit the application fee. Candidates belonging to General/ EWS/ OBC category have to submit Rs. 300/-. SC/ ST/ PwBD/ XSM and female candidates are exempted from the fee submission. Fee can be submitted via online and offline mode. Candidates have an option to pay the fee through Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card or specially opened SBI account (No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi, on behalf of the NTPC.
