National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a public notice yesterday, May 04, 2021, regarding the extension of registration for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2021. The public notice was published on the official website nchmjee.nta.nic.in. According to the notice, the last date to submit the application form has been extended to May 31, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Thereafter, the last date to pay the application fee has been extended to May 31, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. Invariably, the entrance exam has also been postponed to a later date and shall be announced in due course.

NTA began the NCHM JEE 2021 registration process on February 02, 2021 and the last date to register was May 10, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. However, authorities received multiple requests to extend the registration deadline due to the difficulties faced by multiple candidates owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Various hurdles and difficulties have been created in the registration process due to the coronavirus.

Acknowledging the hardships faced by aspirants, NTA issued a public notice yesterday, announcing the postponing of NCHM JEE 2021. The exam which was previously scheduled on June 12, 2021 shall now be scheduled at a later date. The revised exam date shall soon be notified by the authorities.

After completion of registration process, NTA was going to open the correction window from May 12 to 16, 2021. However, due to the extension of registration deadline, registered candidates can now avail the correction facility from June 02 to 08, 2021. They can avail this facility on the official website nchmjee.nta.nic.in. However, after the closure of correction window, NTA shall not accept any further rectification requests in the application form.

Authorities also advised candidates to visit the official websites nta.ac.in and nchmjee.nta.nic.in regularly to get their queries resolved. For any further queries or clarifications, they can call the authorities on the number 011-40759000. According to the recent changes, aspirants are given an extra month to register for the national-level entrance exam for Hotel Management course.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination by registering on the official website, filling the application form with the required particulars, upload important documents and pay the application fee. NCHM JEE 2021 application fee can be paid through the Canara bank or PAYTM Gateway using any of the online payment modes. These modes include Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI or Wallet.

The entrance exam registration fee differs based on the category to which the candidate belongs. General (UR), OBC-NCL category candidates must pay Rs.1000 while General-EWS category aspirants have to pay Rs.750 as application fee. However, SC, ST, PwD and Transgender category candidates have to pay Rs.450 as application fee. However, the specified fee does not include the additional charges applied depending on the candidate’s bank.
