Around 119 lakh candidates are waiting for RRB NTPC answer key and result. So far, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has conducted 6 phases of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) CBT 1 and the exam date for the 7th phase is awaited. RRB will first release the answer key, which candidates will be allowed to challenge, then the result will be announced. However, all will depend on the 7th phase because until all the phases are over the Indian Railway cannot release the answer key or announce the result.
So when will RRB release NTPC answer key?
It is very difficult to predict date for the release of the answer key. However, RRB will only release RRB NTPC answer key 2021 after phase 7 of the exam is conducted.
Why can’t RRB release answer key until phase 7 is over?
It is very unlikely that Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare the answer key and result of the 6 CBT 1 phases held till now before the 7th phase. This is because the answer keys are only uploaded after all the phases of the exam are over. It is not possible to release the answer keys before any phase of the exam is pending. And thus, without releasing the answer key and accepting challenges against them, the result evaluation process cannot start.
Hence, unless the 7th or any more phase of the CBT 1 exam is complete, RRB cannot release answer key or result for phase 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
Another factor is that around 6 lakh candidates are yet to given the RRB CBT 1 exam. It is now up to RRB that will it accommodate all the 6 lakh remaining candidates in a single phase or they will be divided into more than one phase. If more than 1 phase is held then after phase 7, phase 8 can be also expected. This may lead to further delay in the release of the answer key and result declaration.
Therefore, RRB NTPC CBT 1 answer key and result declaration dates cannot be expected anytime soon. It will all depend on when RRB conducts phase 7 of the exam.
What is the exam date for RRB NTPC 2021 Phase 7?
So far, RRB has not made any official statement regarding phase 7 exam date. The delay in the release of dates is most likely due to the pandemic situation. Candidates should wait for the official notice from the recruitment board.
