Banaras Hindu University(BHU) has released the application form for BHU UET/PET on its official portal, bhuet.nta.nic.in. The application process for admission in UG/PG courses begins on August 14, 2021, and will end on September 06, 2021. While the corrections in the application form can be made from September 08, 2021, to September 12, 2021. The exam dates along with admit card dates of BHU UET/PET will be communicated later on the official website. BHU has announced that admission to Diploma/Certificate programme would begin from August 14, 2021. The admission in the UG/PG courses will be subjected to marks scored in the UET/PET exam conducted by NTA.
The educational qualification to apply for BHU UET(Undergraduate Entrance Test) is passing 10+2 in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks. Additionally, the academic requirement for BHU PET(Postgraduate Entrance Test) is completing a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.
As the application form of NTA BHU is already released, candidates must fill it before the closing date. For the same, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1:Visit the official website of NTA BHU, bhuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, a candidate has to choose the Registration link of BHU UET/PET as per his eligibility.
Step 3: Next, on the registration page, click on New Registration and then enter personal details, DOB, complete permanent and communication address, password, and security pin. Post submission, a unique application number will be generated.
Step 4: On the BHU application form the candidates have to mention their academic details, complete information of last qualifying exam, marks scored, name of institution, rank scored. They have to also mention the course they are applying for, the preferred exam center, etc on application form.
Step 5: In the next step, the candidate has to upload a scanned file for photograph and signature. The file size of the photograph should be 10 kb and 200 kb. While the required size range for signature is 4 kb and 30 kb
Step 6: After previewing the application form for the last time, candidates have to pay application fee using any payment channel. The application fee is Rs 600 for General/OBC/ EWS candidates while the same for SC/ST is Rs 300 for both UG/PG courses
Step 7: In the end, the candidates must save or download a copy of the application form after checking the final status of the same.
The BHU UET exam will have 120 questions from General knowledge, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, and Language Comprehension. Each correct answer will account for 4 marks and the paper will be bilingual. The candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the test. Similarly, for the BHU PET paper, there will be 120 questions from the concerned subject of Graduation. The maximum marks for the paper are 480 and the maximum duration to solve the paper is 120 minutes.
