ICMR National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR NIRT) invited applications to fill up 11 vacancies on a contractual basis. Today is the last date of receipt of applications for recruitment through email. The vacancies are available for posts such as Technical Officer, Technician etc. Eligible and intending candidates are encouraged to send their handwritten applications along with scanned copies of supporting documents to the email ID [email protected] by today i.e. November 26, 2020. The selection will be done through an online interview scheduled to be held on November 28, 2020.
As per the detailed advertisement released by NIRT at the official website i.e. jalma-icmr.org.in, the vacancies are available under the project titled “National Survey for the state-wise prevalence of Microbiologically confirmed Pulmonary Tuberculosis in India“. The vacancies are available in the locations of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
There are vacancies available for the posts of Project Technical Officer – Senior Investigator (01), Project Technical Officer – Senior Technical Assistant (01), Project Technician III – Laboratory Technician (02), Project Technician-II – Health Assistant (04), Multi Tasking Staff – Helper (01) and Project Technician III – Laboratory Technician for IRL (02). Selected candidates will be appointed for an initial contract period of 06 months or till the completion of the project.
Candidates are entitled to receive a highest consolidated monthly salary of Rs 32000 for the post of Project Technical Officer while the lowest salary of Rs 15800 is received by Multi Tasking Staff (Helper). However, one must fulfil the specified eligibility criteria for applying against each post. Science/Epidemiology/Public Health Graduates having 05 years of minimum experience are eligible to apply for the post of Project Technical Officer. Those having a Master’s degree in the aforementioned disciplines are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who passed Class 12th with Science subjects and have either a 2 years DMLT/1 year DMLT with 1 year Lab experience/2 years Lab experience are eligible to apply for the post of Project Technician III (Lab Technician). For the post of Project Technician II, candidates who passed Intermediate and have 5 years if experience in health field are eligible to apply. In addition, simple high school pass candidates are eligible to apply for the post of MTS. Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through online interview scheduled to be conducted on November 28, 2020.
