MHT CET 2021

National Institute of Raipur (NIT) Raipur has announced the results for the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2021. Results have been announced on the official website nimcet.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam this year can log in to the official website using their email ID and password. By logging in, candidates get access to their scorecards. It is reported that NIT authorities have disclosed the rank obtained in NIMCET 2021 and not the marks obtained. Due to this, students are unable to decipher the base used by NIT to allot ranks to various students.

The NIMCET 2021 rank card does specify certain important details about the candidate. These include name, gender, application number, hall ticket number, category, disability status, mobile number, Aadhar Card number, etc. After specifying all these details, the candidate’s rank is clearly presented in the document.

Usually, in national-level exams, authorities specify the score obtained, rank acquired and percentile (if applicable). However, the NIMCET 2021 scorecard specifies only the rank. This has created doubts among aspirants. But the NIT authorities are yet to provide any explanation regarding this issue.

Apart from announcing the results, NIT authorities have also published the NIMCET 2021 counselling schedule. Accordingly, the choice filing session is going to begin today, August 24, 2021. Candidates can fill their list of preferred institutes on the official website nimcet.in latest by August 28, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Thereafter, based on the candidates’ ranks and preferences, the first round of college allotment will take place on August 31, 2021, at 8:00 pm.

Candidates can pay the online application fee and upgrade their institute options on September 01 and 02, 2021. Thereafter, the first round of document verification for candidates with allotted colleges will take place from September 04 to 07, 2021. Any discrepancy in the documents will be communicated to the respective candidate via email or mobile by the verifying officer. Candidates are expected to resolve the document issues latest by September 07, 2021, to confirm their admission.

The second round of allotment or upgradation is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Candidates who have been allotted seats in various institutes must pay the counselling or upgradation fee on September 12 and 13, 2021. For such candidates, the document verification process will be held from September 15 to 16, 2021, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

NIT authorities will be holding the third round of seat allotment for NIMCET 2021 qualified candidates on September 20, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Subsequently, the online fee payment for allotment or upgradation will take place on September 21 and 22, 2021. The online verification process for allotted students shall be held on September 23 and 24, 2021.

After all three counselling rounds, NIT authorities will be announcing the list of vacant seats on September 27, 2021. A fresh choice-filling process will take place from September 28 to 30, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. This process is only valid for those candidates who had surrendered their seats in previous rounds. Even those who were allotted seats in any of the previous rounds are also eligible to apply. The final round of seat allotment will take place on October 05, 2021. Thereafter, candidates have to report to the respective institutes latest by October 11, 2021, to complete the remaining formalities.
