Initially, the NID admit card 2022 was supposed to be available at 4 PM but they have been released earlier. The application process for 2022-23 now stands closed. The DAT prelims exams will be held on January 02.
The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the admit cards for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) prelims examination today, December 23. Candidates who will be appearing for the examination can now download the hall tickets from the official website – nid.edu. DAT prelims for B.Des. and M.Des. programmes are all set to be conducted on January 02, 2022, across various examination centres.
Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can now download the NID admit card 2022 by following the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the official website of NID at nid.edu
Step 2- Scroll down the page and click on ‘Admissions 2022-23’ under the ‘Quick Links’ section
Step 3- This will open the admission portal
Step 4- Now, go to the link that reads ‘Click here to download the ADMIT CARD for DAT Prelims Exam 2022’
Step 5- Enter the email address, date of birth and click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 6- After that, download and take a printout of the admit cards.

As mentioned already, the examination will take place on January 02, 2022, and candidates are required to carry the admit cards at the respective centres. The admit cards will not be sent to the candidates via email or post. After downloading the DAT admit card 2022, candidates should crosscheck the details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, test centre venue, etc. The admit cards were initially supposed to be released at 4 PM today but now the website has opened the facility to download the same earlier.
Applicants for B.Des. programme are required to appear for stage 1 or prelims of the Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The questions in the test will mainly include text and visuals. Now, based on the scores obtained in the DAT Prelims, candidates will then be shortlisted for the DAT mains. Similarly, for the M.Des. programme, the DAT prelims paper will comprise a Common Design Aptitude Test and a Discipline Specific Test for 100 marks. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode on the stipulated date. Every candidate is advised to reach the examination centres well before time to avoid any sort of delay.
