National Health Mission is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for various medical and paramedical posts. The vacancies are available under the District Health Society (DHS) Pulwama. An official advertisement regarding recruitment to the advertised posts is available at the websites jknrhm.con and jkhealth.org. A total of 18 vacancies have been advertised for posts such as Staff Nurse, Dialysis Technician and Nursing Tutor. Intending candidates can obtain the application form from the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and deposit the same after filling them up. The last date to deposit the applications is September 03, 2020, before 04.00 PM.
As per the detailed recruitment notification, 13 vacancies available for the post of Staff Nurse. These 13 vacancies are distributed for various places viz. 07 for DNB, 03 for High Dependency Unit, 01 for Dialysis Center and 02 for District Hospital Pulwama. In addition, 02 vacancies are also available for the post of Dialysis Technician in the Dialysis Center-District Hospital Pulwama and 03 vacancies are available for the post of Nursing Tutors in GNM Training School. The recruitment contract for the tenure of employment is offered by the District Health Society, Pulwama.
Applicants must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility conditions at first. For the post of Staff Nurse, candidates need to have passed Matric and acquired Diploma in Jr. Staff Nurse training from SMF or elsewhere. The maximum permissible age for this post is 45 years. Those who wish to apply for the post of Dialysis Technician must have a B.Sc. Dialysis Technology/10+2 with Science & Diploma in Dialysis qualification. Those who wish to apply for the post of Nursing Tutors must be having a B.Sc. Nursing qualification along with 1 year of teaching experience. The maximum permissible age of the applicants is 65 years.
For the post of Staff Nurse, selection of applicants will be done on the basis of Screening Test carrying 60 points, Matric qualification carrying 10 points, Diploma in GNM carrying 15 points and Viva Voce carrying 15 points. On the other hand, for the post of Dialysis Technician, if the number of applicants is less than or equal to 05 times the number of vacancies, the selection is to be done on the basis of minimum qualification carrying 80 points and Viva Voce carrying 20 points. In the number of applicants are more, a screening test carrying 40 points is to be conducted first following which selection will be made on the basis of minimum qualification carrying 40 points and Viva Voce carrying 20 points. The selection procedure for the post of Nursing Tutor is similar to the process described here for the post of Dialysis Technician. No extra weightage is given for possession of higher qualification.
Eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to obtain the application form from the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Pulwama by paying an application fee of Rs 100. The applications must be completely filled up and signed by the candidates. In addition, self-attested copies of documents specified in the recruitment notification must also be enclosed with the applications.
