National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) is inviting applications to fill up 16 latest vacancies. The vacancies are for posts in the categories of Officer, Officials and Support Staff. NESTS has released a detailed recruitment notification in this regard at the website tribal.gov.in. Interested candidates can read the notification and ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying. Candidates can apply online at the aforementioned website till February 04, 2021. Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through a Computer Based Test.
The vacancies are available for various posts including Assistant Commissioner (3) in different branches, Office Superintendent (2), Stenographer (3), Office Assistant (3) and Multi Tasking Staff (5).
For Assistant Commissioner post holders the monthly salary is as per the Level 8 in the pay scale of Rs 47600-151100. Office Superintendent post holders are to be compensated as per Level 7 in the pay scale of Rs 44900-142400. Stenographer (Grade I) post holders will get salary as per Level 6 in the pay scale of Rs 35400-112400 while Stenographer (Grade II) will get salary as per Level 4 in the scale of Rs 25500-81100. The salary of Office Assistant post holders is same as Stenographer (Grade II). MTS post holders are to be paid a monthly salary as per Level 1 in the scale of Rs 18000 – 56900.
NESTS has specified certain minimum conditions to fulfil by all applicants in order to apply for this recruitment. Eligibility criteria is separately specified for each post advertised. A graduate/B.Com degree is required for Assistant Commissioner post . Candidates with B.Com degree can also apply for Office Superintendent. Graduate candidates can apply for Stenographer while for the post of Stenographer (Grade-II), 12th pass candidates can also apply. Simple Class 10th pass candidates can apply for Multi Tasking Staff.
Candidates are advised to refer to the notification for the complete details of the selection process. The initial selection is to be down by the authorities based on the information furnished in the application form. Shortlisted candidates may have to appear in a Computer Based Test, the details of which are going to release in due course of time.
Candidates have to apply online on the official website only. No other form of application is to be accepted. In addition, candidates must also pay the fee as indicated in the official notification. For Assistant Commissioner posts, the fee amount is Rs 1200 while for Office Superintendent, Stenographer and Office Assistants, the fee amount is Rs 750. The fee amount is Rs 100 for MTS post.
